The Golden Rod (RS Style Shift Rod) provides a much more precise shift for 964 and 993. From factory, the 964 uses a poly bushing and 993 uses a rubber joint. By replacing these with a u-joint, the Goldenrod immediately improves the sloppy "vague feel" associated with the original OEM part. Priced at a fraction of the Porsche RS shift rod (currently over $600 USD). Fits all 993 (2WD & AWD). 2WD 964 ONLY.
